New Quality Controls Deliver the Best Results

We've implemented more quality controls to help ensure accuracy and high-quality results. By the time your print project is ready to ship, it has been personally inspected by our experienced professionals through each stage of the printing process – from initial review of your files to final packaging. As a final quality check, our Production Manager selects projects each day at random for closer inspection.

Higher Quality Paper

One of our latest improvements is our paper stock. As part of our continued commitment to quality and the environment, we negotiated with NewPage, a leading U.S. mill, and now recycled paper is our standard house stock – and we are offering it at no additional cost to you. It's brighter and more uniform in appearance than any stock we've offered before. You get great printing results, while doing something good for the environment.

• 30% PCW on 80lb. cover and 100lb. text-weight sheets; 10% PCW on cover weights
• Letterhead and Envelopes are 30% PCW (not including 9x12 or 10x13)

We created an easier, more intuitive online process for selecting job specifications and obtaining quotes. You can now quickly obtain product specifications and job quotes (including shipping and mailing charges) on the same page. Save time and gain peace of mind.

Quality Control/Customer Service Upgrades

• We know how valuable it is to have an expert to consult when developing your project – especially when you’re on a tight deadline.
• Pre-press professionals review EVERY file and help proactively identify issues. Our goal is to create printed projects that appear exactly as you intended, and when we see something that doesn’t look right, we offer free file fixing services with your approval that include:
  • Adding bleed to your file by extending artwork
  • Replacing low resolution images with your high resolution images if available
  • Modifying and formatting text
  • Converting PMS colors to CMYK for 4 color printing
  • Adjusting artwork for correct folding
• Our Customer Service staff completes a rigorous training program to ensure calls are answered quickly, completely and thoroughly—the first time.
• Valuable and easy-to-read Help section gives you a place to turn for advice and useful resources. Of course, you can always call to speak to an experienced customer service specialist who will be happy to provide assistance with your project.

AutoFlight/Proofing Upgrades

• New AutoFlight system allows for faster uploads and better viewing of proofs. And the quicker you can review and approve your proof, the quicker we place it on press and you have more time to move on to your next project.
• Wider viewing area for proofs to clearly see safe zones, trim lines, and folds so you see exactly what you need to see to confidently approve your proof.
• Enhanced options for viewing folds and finished layouts provide peace of mind that your piece prints and folds exactly as intended.
• Option to view proofs at 300 dpi so you can zoom in on every detail of your proof to make sure it is 100% accurate.
• Ability to view a proof before placing your order so you are 100% confident with your order.
• Email Proof option delivers a .pdf proof to you via email within 24 hours.

Press Upgrades

• Additional 40" Komori LS640 high-speed offset press installed in our Cleveland facility. Each facility (Cleveland and Phoenix) contain identical presses so you can be assured that every project has consistent print quality.

Improved Order History/Tracking

• Improved online Order History/Tracking makes it easier to review order history, place re-orders and manage shipping and billing information.
• Your personal "Job History" section details the date proof was approved; date order went to print; date order was shipped; and for mailing jobs, date order was dropped at the Post Office. Now it’s easier than ever to obtain project details and share them with clients.
• View jobs by the project name you assigned to the project at the time of order. No matter how you name or organize your files, you can easily find your projects.

Mailing Services Upgrades

• Mailing jobs drop at the post office within four business days from proof approval. The quicker your project is processed and mailed, the faster you can start receiving the results of your mailing.
• Upload your mailing list, map the fields you want on the address label, view a label and get an instant postage quote to accurately estimate the budget for your project.
