Non-Profit Mailing
Non-Profit groups can apply to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) for approval to mail at special Non-Profit postage rates. This class of mail is a lower priced Standard Mail rate with the same delivery time frames. Once the USPS approves the application, 48HourPrint.com can mail for any Non-Profit organization at this discounted postage rate and this documentation will remain on file for all future mailing orders.
The application process includes a completed Postal Service Form 3623 plus a request for additional entry on company letterhead signed by an organization official. Once the Non-Profit organization has completed the necessary documentation it can either be faxed to 617-269-5080 or emailed to mailing@48hourprint.com. 48HourPrint.com will then forward these documents to the local Post Office in Cleveland, OH for approval, which usually takes 3-5 business days.
Once approval has been granted 48HourPrint.com will proceed with the postage quote and the ink jetting of the mailing job. In addition, the Non-Profit organization that is printing with 48HourPrint.com must include their entire company name, with no abbreviations, on both the mailing design as well as on the documentation sent for approval so that the organization name on the application and on the mailing design match exactly.
